Animal Control Program

Contact Officer Joy regarding lost/missing animals, help/advice on animal problems, information on our animal adoption program or donation of food and supplies to the shelter. Officer Joy does not handle wild animals or animals that private citizens take in on their own and keep.

ACO Joy may be contacted through the police department at 89 Franklin Street, Bucksport.  Animals may be viewed by appointment at the Bucksport Animal Shelter, located behind the Transfer Station on Transfer Station Road, off Central Street.
