Municipal Pool

The Bucksport Recreation Department offers many great recreational opportunities to citizens of all ages from Bucksport and the surrounding communities with its many recreational facilities and programs. Programs are offered year round whether it is walking along a trail located on the Silver Lake Wildlife Refuge or the waterfront, roller or ice skating at the lighted rink, playing volleyball at the outdoor lighted volleyball court, canoeing or kayaking on Silver Lake, fishing from the pier located along the waterfront, watching a movie at the Alamo Theater, mooring a boat at the dock or marina, exercising at the fitness center, taking swimming lessons at the pool, playing tennis at one of the two lighted tennis courts or having a meal at the Senior Citizen Center. These are just a few of the many facilities and programs available.

The Bucksport Recreation Department mission is to provide a wide variety of quality recreational opportunities for the Bucksport area residents.
